Located within the limits of city of Oakville, Bronte Creek has become more of an urban park than a provincial park. The park is huge for an urban location, and very well embraced by the residents of the nearby neighbourhoods. The park offers visitors a variety of recreational experiences year round. The park has over 10km of multi-purpose trails, 11 picnic shelters (reservable), a turn-of-the-century living history museum, nature centre, children’s playbarn, and a seasonal outdoor 1.8 acre pool. The park is especially great for family visits with plenty of activities to keep your kids entertained. Annual events include the award winning Maple Syrup Festival each March, Fall Harvest Festival, and Victorian Christmas. There is also a leash free pet exercise area
