Firefly and Monarch Campgrounds, Long Point Provincial Park

3 Reviews 350 Erie Blvd, Port Rowan, ON N0E 1M0

About the Campground

Long Point offers four campground areas in two sections of the park. Almost half of campsites have electrical service.

Firefly Campground offers large pull-through sites equipped with electrical service. Located on the bay side of the campground, they are a short five minute walk to the beach.

Monarch’s Rest and Turtle Dunes Campgrounds offer some electrical sites that are able to accommodate a variety of equipment. The premium campsites, located in the dunes at the ends of the loops closest to the beach, offer a soft sandy base

great memories
I love this campsite. When I was young, my family often camped here. It was pretty cool to have water on both sides of the site. When I had my own family, I often took them here too. The kids love the space and it is very pretty here too.

A different kind of campground, but nice
We stayed at Firefly campground. The campground was different from most other ones I have stayed. The area is flat and not many trees and no privacy. But weirdly enough, it was nice to camp there. Felt like a sense of community. People from neighbouring sites were friendly and there was plenty of flat ground and lawn for the kids to play in. The beach nearby is good too, except for he fact the water is quite cold. Overall a great experience staying at Firefly

Awesome Camping
Long point Provincial park is one of the most beautiful camp grounds in Ontario. There is fishing, swimming, hiking and plain relaxing to do. A naturalists heaven with the marsh for fowl spotting. End your day with a spectacular sunset.
