About the Campground

Grundy Lake offers large, private campsites within 9 campgrounds and most campsites are less than a five-minute walk to beaches or water access. Jack Pine offers about 50 sites to book and a few of them in the 720s and 730s series have waterfront view. The waterfront sites are non-electric. Overall, this campground has approximately 20 non-electric and 30 electric sites. RVs upto 18ft can be accommodated. For larger pull thru sites, opt for Trailer, Poplar or White Birch campgrounds

Good camping experience
We camped at Jack Pine about 2 years ago. We were hoping to get a lake-front camping site but they were all booked up, so plan ahead as much as possible. We opted for Jack Pine camping ground because its close to Grundy lake and also offered amenities like canoeing, fishing, kayaking, etc. within the reach. The sites were neat and spacious. Some of them seemed very crowded as they are located in close proximity to the neighboring ones. Surprisingly, there weren't any mosquitoes around at the time we went

Great campground - away from the noise, little far from comfort station
Site: 733 Two years back, I was able to grab a non electric site at Jack Pine for a weekend. It was a great experience. If you are lucky you can get one of the few sites close to the water. The campground is little far from the main beach and crowd, so thats good if you like quietness and peace. The comfort station is at the entrance of the campground, so most of the sites in the Jack Pine loop are a little bit walk from the comfort station with showers. However there are vault toilets available within the campground for quick access. Overall, it was good stay
