Long Schooner Lake offers many campsites that are located on 3 of the lakes islands that are home to 9 water access only campsites and also offers 5 vehicle access sites (aka drive-in sites).
Round Schooner Lake is located at the tail end of Long Schooner Lake and is accessible through a shallow channel that runs between the two lakes. This lake is home to 11 campsites that are water access only. All sites are situated on Mainland.
Visitors to the Schooner Lakes will soon realize they are in the highlands. Hike to the top of the sheer granite cliffs and you will feel as though you are sitting atop the world. Explore the area around your campsite and discover an abundance of natural wildlife from deer to herons.
Fishing on Long Schooner Lake – You will find Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass.
Fishing on Round Schooner Lake – You will find Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass.
