My parents took us to Silver Falls as kids. We are 35 and still love to camp there. The price is excellent. The beach is huge and very clean. There are many sites to choose from with a cooking firepit and picnic table. Many nice new clean outhouses all equipped with sanitizer. The campers are all very friendly and helpful. Definitely a kid friendly place. My family and I went last-night just for the evening. Kayla

Family friendly
Silver Falls Provincial Park has been a favourite to bring my family and friends for many decades. Great fishing, friendly campers, beautiful beach, hiking trails and campsites suitable for anyone's needs. So many improvements have been made since my first visit to the park and staff strive to keep things in order. Highly recommended to all who appreciate the beauty Northern Ontario has to offer.

Silver Falls - Gem of the North
This little gem is my favourite place to camp and it's been a popular among locals for many, many years. There beach is beautiful and very full on the sunniest days with some driving out solely for a swim and time on the beach for the day. I spent a few nights in my tent, the site was large enough for my enormous tent and a fellow camper was sweet enough to help me set it up as it was a big job for one person. Once set up, I did a walk around to check on other tent sites available for future visits. The park is well maintained with staff visiting the park on a daily basis to check on supplies in the outhouses and on new guests to ensure they are registered. It's definitely my go to spot, especially with some of the seasonal sites belonging to friends and neighbours of mine! I didn't have any cell phone service but that was a welcome blessing when I realized that, I had a great book to keep me occupied when I wasn't visiting the lake or exploring the area with my walks. I didn't use my cookstove because I preferred the slow and relaxing preparation of meals with the campfire and the firepit was perfect for cooking all my meals on the grill, including my morning coffee. I can't wait to return for another visit.
