Bronte Creek Provincial Park

2 Reviews 1219 Burloak Dr, Oakville, ON L6M 4J7

Located within the limits of city of Oakville, Bronte Creek has become more of an urban park than a provincial park. The park is huge for an urban location, and very well embraced by the residents of the nearby neighbourhoods. The park offers visitors a variety of recreational experiences year round. The park has over 10km of multi-purpose trails, 11 picnic shelters (reservable), a turn-of-the-century living history museum, nature centre, children’s playbarn, and a seasonal outdoor 1.8 acre pool. The park is especially great for family visits with plenty of activities to keep your kids entertained. Annual events include the award winning Maple Syrup Festival each March, Fall Harvest Festival, and Victorian Christmas. There is also a leash free pet exercise area

There are four campground loops in Bronte that offers car camping and yurt camping. All campsites in all four loops have electrical hookups

Great family campground close to the city
Great family campground for someone looking to camp with kids but don't want to go too far from the city. Before kids we used to go camping in farther locations but more serene. But with kids sometimes we just want to hop on and go for a weekend trip with one night camp, and Bronte is a great choice for that Pros: Hiking, Swimming Pool & Animal farms. Our kids love saying hi to the animals

Fall colors day hiking - 2021
I have been to Bronte many times as we live in Mississauga. Last year we went in fall for a day hike. The fall colors were amazing. The park is close to GTA and is a great choice for day hike. There is also a Victorian house and farm, kids love to see the farm and interact with the animals there
