About the Park
Lion’s Head Provincial Park is a natural reserve located near the town of Lion’s Head, Bruce County. This beautiful park that sticks out into the turquoise waters of Georgian Bay in Lake Huron, is part of an area of the Niagara Escarpment that has rock formation in the shape of a Lion’s head when looked at from a distance, hence the name. This park is part of the Niagara Escarpment Parks System, and the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve. The Bruce Trail passes through here. There are no visitor facilities. The area is best suited for hiking and nature appreciation
