Great park, lots of things to do for kids
We stayed in one of their tented cabins for a weekend in Sep 2021. It blew my mind that such an awesome provincial park is available merely 2 hours east of GTA. Right off the 401. Lush greens, not heavily packed with campsites like Algonquin, and 3 sections to choose from. We stayed in the Maples. They have a beautiful sandy beach, however it was quite windy for kids to spend a lot of time in the beach. It is Fall season, so I should have expected it :). Ontario Lake was also way too choppy (never seen it as choppy in all my life). We did a boardwalk trek (1.5 km), it was amazing with the kids, lots of exploration and very unique. I 100% recommend this park as lots to do including lighthouse, nature center, lots of fossils, hiking paths.
