About the Park

Nestled deep within the heart of Carolinian Canada, lies Ontario’s second oldest Provincial Park: Rondeau! Formed in 1894, Rondeau Provincial Park remains one of the crown jewels of the Ontario Parks system and is home to many southern species that can be found nowhere else in Canada.

Got to bring my kids where I camped as a child.
My wife didn’t believe me when I told her about the fine sand at the beach, but whenever we visit, she wants to spend the whole day at the beach. Great campsites, lots of water spigots, accessible washroom, a short walk to the park store (with the best Ontario creamery ice cream). Our children love playing in the water and sand, and being able to put a canoe in just outside of the park means we got to explore the calm side. Finest childhood memories that I get to share with my children.

Family park
Sites are not very private and poison ivy can be an issue near hookups or site edges. Great trails, the south point is amazing. Great dog beach. Park store has all your necessities and some good food. Visitor center is very educational and has a nice gift shop.
