Algonquin backcountry: Are you allowed to go to a different campsite every night without booking it?

In Algonquin Park you book the lake you plan on staying at each night and require a permit for camping there. You can stay at any available camp site and can move to a new one each day if you wish.
If you arrive the day of your trip you will have to book what lakes are available at that time. However, you can reserve your choices up to five months in advance.
