Unlike many campgrounds, this private campground is relatively non-commercialized. The owners have kept this get-away as close to nature as possible protecting many trees and natural bushes. The campground’s well-kept facilities and buildings have a definite “rustic” theme, which fit in well with the natural surroundings.
The campground has done a good job balancing nature and modern conveniences. You will enjoy 30 amp hydro and water hook-ups, plus never be more than 3 minutes walk from clean washroom facilities featuring sinks, hot showers, and flush toilets. You can also stay connected with work or loved ones with Wi-Fi.
The campground is located along Little Marble Lake which has very few motorized boats buzzing around like at many places, so it’s safe for your children. In fact it’s so quiet you may feel like you have your own private lake! The lake’s sandy beach is shallow for 20-30 feet so your small children can play safely in the water. Out a little further, enjoy a nice swim or calm outing in one of the rental boats offered by the facility. Some visitors simply drift out onto the lake on a floating mattress – reading or napping. If you’re into fishing, this small lake has some big fish! If you want bigger water, much larger lakes are close by.
