Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park provides an opportunity for visitors to experience expansive solitude in a place where the forces of nature function freely. The park protects provincially significant geological, biological, and cultural features. Located at the southern boundary of the Boreal forest, the park is home to a great variety of wildlife.
Paddling is encouraged throughout the park. There are numerous routes within Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater that fit paddling experience of all levels. The park offers many deep lakes, fast-flowing streams and rivers, and connections to other provincial parks found within the Temagami region.
There are 235 km of canoe routes, 84 portages, and 142 campsites. Box privies are available on most campsites.
Camping reservations are not available at this park. All campsites are first-come first-served.
Interior camping permits are required for backcountry camping at Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park. Permits can be purchased online up to two weeks in advance of your arrival date.
