West Lake Campground is pet-free and has 75 electrical campsites. Most of these sites are pull through sites, suitable for trailers and large RVs. This campground is located across from the Dunes Day Use area. Its a newer addition to the list of campgrounds offered by Sandbanks and is more popular for RVs and trailers.
The campground doesn’t have much shades and it could get quite hot during peak summer days. The sites are equipped with 15/30 amp power and can be easy to pull through for big RVs. There is a comfort station with shower facility. West Lake has three camping areas – Campground A, B & C- all three of them have no privacy or shade. The comfort station is shared by all three areas
