Campground Overview

MacGregor Point Provincial Park is one of the 290+ provincial parks managed and operated by Ontario Parks, located along the shoreline of Lake Huron. The park is one of the most ecologically diverse Ontario Parks that comprises of coast, coastal wetlands, forests and dunes. The park is also popular among bird watchers as it is home to migrating birds Black-crowned Night Heron and the American Egret.

The park is open on all seasons and offers a range of activities from guided tours in summer to cross-country skiing and outdoor skating rink in Winter.

Camping

MacGregor Point offers three developed campgrounds and a total of 360 campsites.

Algonquin Campground – Algonquin has three campsite loops, housing both electrical and non-electrial sites, and each loops has a comfort station. Algonquin also houses Yurts that are popular among winter visitors to the park.
Nipissing Campground – Nipissing has only non-electric sites and the sites are located close to the camper’s beach.
Huron Campground – Huron offers both electrical and non-electrical sites, and is the farthest of the three from the park entrance. Huron is also a radio-free campground.
