Port Burwell Provincial Park is a 227 hectare recreation class park located adjacent to the Lake Erie fishing village of Port Burwell, Elgin County, Ontario. A private campground was operating in this area for a number of years. In 1967, Ontario government started acquisition of the place and made it a provincial park. The park was originally called Iroquois Beach Provincial Park and later changed to its current offical name ‘Port Burwell Provincial Park’ in 1986. The park has three campgrounds located a short distance away from the lake in a mature forest. The campsites are well-planned, easily accessible, large, private and many are grass covered. There are two group camping sites; one accommodates 20-80 people, the other 30-100 people. A minimum of 20 people is required when booking a group campsite. Biking, Birding, Boating, Fishing, Hiking and Discovery programs are popular activites in the park
