Canisbay Camping
It was nice and quiet in the campground which made the whole stay a pleasure. The campground staff were vigilant and kept an eye out to make sure the rules were followed. The comfort station was well maintained. I would definitely recommend this campground to family and friends.

Lots of wonderful memories made here
Canisbay is a lovely campground. The beach is perfect for families. We enjoyed several relaxing canoe rides in the lake.

Great camping experience
First time camping in Algonquin, so we didnt really know what to expect. We had the extreme heat when we arrived, and the heavy thunderstorm the day after that led to most of our stuff soaked and the water seeping in through our tent. Lots of diff bugs! I guess things you can expect from camping and to be prepared for. It was a good experience. The site itself was well maintained and offers privacy from other campers. The lake was amazingly breathtaking. The water was clear and the beach was clean. It was nice exploring the lake with our kids. We will definitely be back, with hopes of a sunny and cool weather.

Perfect for everyone in the family.
Have stayed at Canisbay many times over the years and honestly it's a favorite. Great beach, great fishing for smallmouth bass and a really nice place to put your canoe in and go for a paddle. Dog beach is great and private. Which is where people can leave thier canoes overnight without anyone disturbing them. It really has something for everyone.
