Picturesque and lovely
We’ve brought our two young girls (4 & 6) twice already. Really nice campsites, just off the main road, nearby shop with delicious ice cream, tons of trails to explore early in the morning. Seeing spider webs reflecting rainbows of dew on the trail boardwalks, birds and chipmunks is lovely. It’s a short drive from the art museum and the visitor center.

Great campsites
We have camped at Mew Lake many times and have always been happy with the quality of the campsite. The only downside of the experience has been the campers who don't follow the rules and the lack of enforcement by the park management. I am looking forward to my next trip to Mew Lake, in spite of that.

Beautiful Stay
We stayed at Mew Lake from a Friday to Monday. Live about 3 hours away. The drive is beautiful once you enter the park. The sites are really big. We fit a 30 foot trailer, a fairly big tent, a van, and a truck on the site and still had room! Beach is nice when there isn't a lot of geese poop. Easy park to walk around in. Nice trail to a small water fall in the park. Lots of great trails in Algonquin.
