Mew Lake Campground is one of the popular campgrounds in Algonquin and has over 100 campsites, many of which are located in a White Pine forest. The campground is also popular among Winter campers. The remainder have a more open situation with scattered trees. Half of the sites in this campground have electrical hook-ups and another group are located in a dog and radio-free zone.

In Winter, Mew Lake offers both tent camping and yurt camping. There are a total of 7 yurts run by Ontario Parks at Mew Lake. The Yurts are permanent tent structures that offers camping experience with a touch of convenience and warmth. If you are looking for a more adventurous experience, you can tent camp at Mew Lake during the winter. You can pitch a hot tent and have the true Canadian winter adventure.
